When mountain peaks lose edges and rivers no longer flow;
When time stops, days and nights melt into one tomorrow;
When winter leaves quietly grow red bells and white snows;
Every December, I dress in fresh roses and I celebrate you,
Your tender smile is my greatest triumph in this life anew.
When the Sun no longer rises and Earth ceases revolving;
When the blossoms wither and four seasons unchanging;
When the oceans fading our memories and the sky falling;
Every Christmas, I light scarlet torches and I rise with you,
The star rivers in your eyes are my solace in a fragile world.
Today, all I have to chant is a fervent wish, a happy birthday vow:
Let us live boldly and unrestrained, grow an inch beauty each day,
Let us dance gaily in neon lights, spin an ounce lure in every turn.
Benign as the wintry wind, the gentle breeze glides on my eyelashes,
As the season turns, our passions form springs from ancient lakebed,
Moment by moment, landscapes beguilingly revise as we enter them,
phrase by phrase, magic spells attune into soft melodies, in simpatico.
We are forever whole and young, with crystallised pink cheeks and fair skin,
We are zeal and unafraid to eternity, with crimson lilies bloom from our lips,
Every December, we sing the joy from our hearts with sweet wines before us,
Every Christmas, we savour the brilliance of our youth with vivacious vigour.

Annabel’s 2023 Christmas Birthday Manifesto
Today, this Christmas and this birthday, is a precious gift to me and I am eternally grateful. Right at this moment, I have reached a milestone in my personal journey and I happily transition to my next life phrase.
As I am leaving the past behind, I’m sending gratitude to those who have mentored and assisted me to advance my career for their unwavering faith in me has empowered me to believe that no dream is too big and no path is too tough; I’m sending gratitude to my childhood friends for their friendships had brought me so much comforts, joy, and a safe place to whim, to be playful; I’m sending gratitude to my peers and colleagues for their presence in my life and their unique perspectives that continue to inspire me; and most importantly, I’m sending my gratitude to all who have loved me for their love have shown me the best I can be and their adorations have given me the strength to face my fears and tears.
As I am embarking on the next phrase of my journey, I wave a warm goodbye to those who will not or cannot accompany me further. I wish them a fulfilling and beautiful life; I forgive those who once hurt me, truly and completely. There is no more grudges and resentments, only understandings and goodwills; I let go of the past and break all the soul contracts of troubled and complexed relationships, whether is with my family members, relatives, friends, or acquaintances. I do not keep any promise or be loyal to anyone and anything that will make me suffer. I declare that I do not need pains in order to grow and to learn.
I send blessings to all who have known me and have read about me, either in person or online; I send blessings to all who will ever read about me and ever get to know me, either in person or online; I send blessings to all who are on their way to love me; I send blessings to all who I have loved and will love; and I send blessings to myself as a child, reassuring her everything is well and will continue to be well; I send my blessings to myself in all lifetimes, in all dimensions, and in all planets, at this sacred Christmas night.
Now I am light and I am ready! I am calling upon the fragments of my soul that I have left in places of my trauma, in times of turmoil, and in people of my past to come back to me, and to rejoin me as I step into the brilliant future. I am calling my guardian angels to be at my side right now and lead the path ahead….
