Can A Secret Be Forgiven

Through the eyes

I feel your heart in mine

A gentle knock on the closed gate

Demands a secret be seen

But sometimes I feel so small

I raise my hand, jump high

Still can’t touch the sky

I feel so small

I try to fight, toss behind

Still can’t reach the end

I tell myself not to surrender

But the bullets drop like rain

I equip myself the warrior spirit

But they’re Kings from terrorist domain

Can a story rewrite?

Can a secret be forgiven?

Forgive me couldn’t explain

It’s a story I don’t know how to begin

Forgive me didn’t tell the secret

It’s a secret I don’t even want to tell myself
