The Mystery

I once saw a galaxy of grass knitting the mountain top,
strongly, steadily, expanding and claiming territories.
From there grew new suns, moons and fresh constellations.
               They reminded me of you.

Your face and your smiles, I only vaguely remember,
But Dear, I need not see you to know you are here.
Your breath of galaxies intertwined with my white roses,
Your vibrating tides leaping high and far before my eyes,
Strongly, steadily, you engulfed rivers and thorny paths.
Now the sun has set and the rain has been tenderer,
the breeze at dawn has secrets to tell.
              They're reminding me of you,
the one who took me back to Love.

  1. Though it is said that, “There is no easy way from the earth to the stars (“Non est ad astra mollis e terris via”), where the journey begins in the heart, ones footing is sound and the trail glowing with reward, lovely like reflections on a river or the starlight in your eyes. Like the heart from which it flows, your poetry is beautiful and a wonderful read to begin the day. πŸ₯° TY dear Annabel 🌷

loved the saying β€œ there’s no easy way from earth to stars”. I have been struggling of putting the right motif for my next choreography work. This seems to be an intriguing theme to explore! Thank you for the bonus, Phil! πŸ˜ƒπŸ™πŸŒ·
