Spring Serenade

Beauty are the days that quietly slip away,
and night stars brightening never in delay,
Velvet blue, silent true,
whispering words of long lost lullabies,
one shade the more, one ray the less,
even my darkest shadow rests now in her nameless grace.

When the night draws near,
it fills my heart with such dreams and desires,
like a child asleeping in her safest cradle,
so warm, so deep....
I might mourn, I might cry,
and you don't have to wonder why.

like a child blooming in her wildest delight,
so darling, so free...
I will fly, claim the sky,
and you don't have to wonder why.

Beauty are the days that tenderly beside,
always be, always see,
the mellow moon lies still and gleaming,
whose sweet voice gentle and heavenly,
So be charmed,
So be charmed,
O'dear, you don't have to wonder why,
I will bring you a song,
it is where we belong,
now come and dream the night with me,
now come and dream the night with me.....
