The Moon’s Demand

“You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies. That is why you must sing, and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.” — Jiddu Krishnamurti

full moon eclipse, Jun 2020

The moon once again, a gentle mistress tonight,
With her glaring passion, gorgeously in red.
Handover a wish if you might,
Entrust the cosmos be your guide.
May I bounce back from my trapped youth,
May I awake fresh from the tragic gaslight,
May I find forgiveness blooming from my heart.
Wandering through this mundane life,
Remember to travel light.

The moon is a generous mistress tonight,
She’s offering love abundantly bright.
Alluring prize of ravishing beauty in its full glide,
calling warrior souls to unite,
Purging out all ego and pride.

Only the strongest dares to meet such demand.
Have you been strong enough?
